Lisie College of Pharmacy organized a national level webinar on “Repurposing of Existing Drugs against COVID-19” on 4th July 2020, as a part of Continuing Pharmacy Education Programs. Drug repurposing is an alternative approach in which already approved drugs are explored for alternative indications, which save time and money involved in new drug development process, which is one of the approaches in the development of Medicine/s to treat COVID-19.

More than 1000 participants; who include Students & Faculty members/Researchers from academia and industry, all over India and abroad have attended the programme. Dr. Anoop Kumar, Ph.D. (Assistant Professor, Department of Pharmacology and Toxicology, National Institute of Pharmaceutical Education and Research (NIPER), Raebralli, Lucknow) hosted the webinar.
