“Self defense is not just a set of technique, it is a state of mind that begins with the belief that you are worth defending”- Rorion Gracie. Lisie College of Pharmacy organized Self defense training programme for women. Trainers from Kerala Police department (ASI Ratnamma, SCPO Lissy Mathai and CPO Syama) conducted 3 hours training session. 70 students and 15 staff members actively participated in the programme. The training was coordinated by Gendeder sensitization Committee of Pharmacy College as per the guidelines of AICTE, Govt. of India for “The prevention and prohibition of violence against women.
