A workshop on “Teaching Methodology” was jointly organized by Lisie College of Pharmacy and Indian Pharmaceutical Association (IPA, Kerala State Branch) on 16 September 2023. Dr. Jinu Isaac, Principal welcomed the gathering. Fr. Davis Padannakkal, Assistant Director of Lisie Medical and Educational Institutions inaugurated the workshop. Mr. M P George, former Drugs Controller of Kerala and Vice President of IPA Kerala State Branch, delivered an impactful presidential address. Dr. John Joseph, Honorable Secretary of IPA Kerala State Branch, elucidated the significance of teaching methodology in pharmacy programs. Insightful sessions were conducted by esteemed resource persons, including Dr. K S Krishnakumar (Associate Professor, SNM Training College) on mindfulness in teaching and learning, Dr. Seeja K R (Assistant Professor, General Education, SNM Training College) on questioning skills for effective teaching, and Dr. Laya A B (Assistant Professor, General Education, SNM Training College) on E-Assessment techniques in education. All Faculty members of Lisie College of Pharmacy and faculty members from other three pharmacy colleges also participated in the work shop.
