World Asthma day is organized every year on the first Tuesday of May to improve asthma awareness and care around the world. The theme for this year’s Asthma Day is – “Closing gaps in asthma care” In connection with the same, Department of Pulmonary Medicine, Lisie hospital and Lisie College of Pharmacy organized a flashmob in Ernakulam Town (North) Railway Station on 03/05/2022. Following the same, a short meeting was conducted in which Dr. Sony Jacob K, Associate Professor, Department of Pharmaceutical Chemistry, Lisie College of Pharmacy delivered the welcome address. Rev Fr Dr. Paul Karedan, Director, Lisie Medical and Educational Institutions inaugurated the function. The presidential address was delivered by Dr. Paramez A.R, HOD and Senior Consultant, Department of Pulmonology, Lisie Hospital. The asthma day message was given by Dr. Thomas Kurian, Consultant Pulmonologist, Lisie Hospital. The gathering was felicitated by Mr. K.P. Balakrishna Panicker, Station Manager and the Sub Inspector of Protection Force, Jose Sir. The meeting concluded with a vote of thanks by Mr. Arun P.A, Health Inspector, Ernakulam Town Railway Station
