World Brain Tumour Day is observed on the 8th of June with an objective to spread awareness on the disease, encourage research and pay tribute to patients and their families. In connection with the same, the Department of Neurosurgery, Lisie Hospital and Lisie College of Pharmacy had conducted an online session regarding the disease via Zoom platform on 07/06/2021. Dr Koshy George, Head of Department, Senior Consultant Neurosurgeon & Spinesurgeon discussed brain tumour in detail and highlighted the different types of brain tumours, signs and symptoms, advancement in treatment for effective control and prevention of the disease. This was followed by a question and answer session, where the students asked queries regarding the various aspects of brain tumour.
